Mark Samani composes emotive music for films, video games and animations. He strives to use his music to further the depth of the narrative, believing all components of these mediums have their own additions to the storytelling experiences. Mark prides himself on being able to use melodies, harmonies, textures and sound effects to create impassioned and deep worlds that, through careful creation, can align their narratives with those of visual media. Mark finds the strongest connections with projects that strive to go deeper than the face value. With experience as a composer, orchestrater, MIDI mock up artist, copyist, recording and mixing engineer and a sound designer for various genres such as jazz, classical, rock and electronic, Mark has sharpened his skills and is a confident and well-rounded composer. Having scored dozens of projects so far, ranging from feature-length and short films/animations, to video games, TV shows and dance performances from directors and creatives from New York, Philadelphia and Los Angeles, Mark loves the opportunity to add his touch to creative endeavors. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Arts in 2020 with a Bachelors of Music in Music Composition and a minor in Music Business, Technology and Entrepreneurship, Mark has since been continuing his freelance career as a media composer full time.
